Mid week challenge- make a card for a kid

This weeks challenge was to make a card for a kid. I love to make cards for girls. I go right to the pink paper and flowers and bling. I decided I can't just make girly card. Here is my attempt at a boy card- dinosaurs.

                                             I hope this helps a little boy have a happy birthday.

The mid- week challenge this week is to make a card with scallops. I made this card with my cricut and the wild card cartridge. It is cut at 5 inches.

A perfect card for a little boy's birthday.

Mid week challenge- polka dots

The challenge this week is to make a card with polka dots. Here is my card

The ribbon was an afterthought. The vellum was really going to be the only polka dots until I saw it was missing something. The little Happy Birthday was moved 3 times.

Our assignment was to make a spring card. This is my card.

It is stamped with my favorite stamp set- friendship blessing by Close To My Heart. The pink paper with embossed dots is Bazzill paper. The green paper is DCWV and the Hello stamp is also from Close to my Heart. The set is called For Every Occasion.
