A Valentine's Project (sewing)

I made this for my girls. I do not sew but I have decided I will teach myself to sew. I found this project online. You can find the directions here

I think I did an OK job. There was lining and ric rac trim. I could not get the button holes but you can't tell.

OWH Challenge- heat it up

Heat embossing is a great technique. It looks great and seems a lot harder than it is. I don't do it too much because with 2 little kids I can not leave the heat gun out too long.

This is the inspiration card

The cross was heat embossed.

This is my card. The black square in the center was embossed.

Holiday Challenge- Groundhog's day

This is a silly little challenge for Groundhogs day. Make a card with a rodent. I couldn't find a groundhog that wasn't scary so I streched it a bit and went for a rabbit. Easter is coming.

OWH challenge #1

OWH now has a blog for all of the cardmakers. We have our first challenge. Here is my card. I am going to use it as a any hero card.
All of the paper is DCWV, the stamp and ink is CTMH, the flower is a prima and the stars are buttons. I am not sure where I got those?
