Flag Day

Flag day at school is so patriotic. The kids are so excited to wear red, white and blue, hold their flags and sing songs. My 4 yr old practiced  You're a grand old flag every day for over a month. The school was afraid of rain so they moved most of the festivities inside. They did march around the block and they loved that.

OWH Challenge- Make a manly card

I will confess. Manly cards are not my thing. I almost never make them. I don't really have a lot of men in my life so I make everything girly. This is my attempt at a manly card.

OWH Challenge #20

I love the OWH Challenges. It helps me see the cards and paper in a new way. I try to use the challenges as a way to use all of my scrap paper. I had this paper left from teacher Thank You cards. This week I made 2 cards- You're on my mind.

I love how this turned out. I cut the large circle and letters with my gypsy. It is easier than I thought and I like to play with it when I am waiting somewhere.

Back to scrapbooking

I MUST get back into scrapbooking. I have the pictures, all of the supplies but I really want to get back into it. When I started making cards I loved the instant gratification and I loved how people loved the cards. I kept making cards and then sending them to OWH and just never got back to scrapping. I have finished 2 pages so I thought I would post them. As I finish more pages I will post. I will still be making cards but hopefully I can keep up with both.

Birthday Invitations

Both of my girls are having a birthday. We have 1 big party and it takes care of everything. I made the invites with the help of my cricut and a little inspiration from papercrafts magazine. Here they are

I made 12 of them in all different colors so everyone is getting a different invite.
